Join us as we discuss a popular, recurring grant program – the COPS School Violence Prevention Program. Since 2018, this program has been impactful for communities across the U.S., bringing a wide variety of safety funding to areas with limited resources.
This 3-Year Program provides awardees with up to $500,000 in capital funding to implement, upgrade and expand security equipment and programming in your schools. Grant funds can pay for equipment that supports mass communication, access control, video surveillance, perimeter fencing and lighting, and more. While the predominant focus of this grant program is on bolstering security with equipment and technology, the COPS SVPP program also allows for a portion of the budget to be dedicated to personnel that will assist in the implementation of the project.
Both urban and rural school districts are encouraged to apply.
