Join us as we discuss one of the most popular recurring grant programs – the USDA Rural Utility Services Distance Learning & Telemedicine (RUS-DLT) Grant. For decades, this program has been impactful for rural communities across the U.S., bringing a wide variety of educational, information and health resources to areas with limited resources.
This 3-Year program provides awardees with up to $1M in capital funding to implement, upgrade and expand education and health resources through the use of interactive video connections. Grant funds can pay for network components and access points needed to facilitate video connections, video licensing, endpoints, audiovisual devices, peripherals, content, and training. While the benefits must flow to the rural end-user sites, the funding can also cover the hub locations providing the educational content or delivering healthcare services (including healthcare education, public health, telehealth, mental health and substance abuse, school-based health, etc.).
