With Virtual Gateway, users can extend their SD-WAN overlay services to the public cloud infrastructure. Virtual Gateways function as VPN concentrators in the SD-WAN architecture. Virtual Gateways can terminate tunnels from; Branch Gateway, Instant APs (micro-SD-Branches) and VIA clients.

Like the on-premises VPN Concentrators, Virtual Gateways support routing, security, and tunneling features.

The Aruba SD-Branch solution can make use of a software-as-a-service (SaaS) component of Aruba Central to handle the complete life cycle of the Virtual Gateways. Aruba SD-Branch solution also supports manual bring up of Virtual Gateways.
